Work With Shiva Honey
Counsel for those in the midst of becoming.
We all encounter thresholds in life.
Grief. Reinvention. Creative breakthroughs. Illness. Death. Moments when an old story is ending and a new one has not yet begun.
For most of human history, people sought guidance during these moments. They turned to priestesses, wise women, healers, and elders who helped guide them through what was unfolding.
My work continues that tradition.
For more than a decade, I have built modern rites of passage through books, ritual, grief work, retreats, art, and mentorship. My work has been featured by CNN, NPR, TIME, and The New York Times, and has helped thousands of people navigate life's greatest transitions with greater intention, courage, and beauty.
Whether you're seeking clarity at a crossroads, preparing for the end of life, bringing a creative work into the world, or longing for a deeper sense of purpose, each offering below is a different path for our work to begin.
If you’re unsure of where to begin, I suggest booking a Priestess Session
About Me
I'm a priestess, author, death doula, and ceremonial tattoo artist who has dedicated my life to helping people navigate life's greatest thresholds with intention, compassion, and ritual.
For more than a decade, I've written books, led retreats, taught thousands of students, and guided individuals through grief, transformation, creative work, and end-of-life planning. My work has been featured by CNN, NPR, TIME, The New York Times, VICE, The Boston Globe, and This Is Life with Lisa Ling.
I draw from ritual practice, death work, research, and years of teaching to offer guidance that is both deeply personal and thoughtfully grounded. Whether we're exploring grief, purpose, legacy, or creative work, my goal is always the same: to help you move through life's thresholds with greater clarity, courage, and intention.
I believe that our greatest transformations begin not by becoming someone else, but by learning to meet ourselves—and our lives—with honesty, compassion, and devotion.
